About Elizabeth

Elizabeth comes from a large family where birth was spoken of openly, and always felt a profound respect and a natural pull toward pregnancy and birth. In her childhood she was fascinated to hear birth stories, and was continually more in-awe by the strength and love in birth. During the struggle to become pregnant with her first child Elizabeth felt a draw again toward birth, pregnancy, and the unique experience every woman desires for. Toying with the idea of studying midwifery or becoming a doula, she felt it more important for herself to solely focus on the mother during the birthing experience.  Previously a LMT (licensed massage therapist) Elizabeth wanted to help others and help relieve pain. She believes massage helped to guide her toward being a birth professional and the continual use of her hands as healing tools. Elizabeth understands from personal experience that sometimes the road to parenthood is not quite as care-free as we envision, but it makes it that much sweeter. Her vision is that to help ease anxieties surrounding birth and reshape the view to that of strength, pride, and excitement.
